Chris Boyce - Chief Executive OfficerChris Boyce brings an impressive background in health care and technology leadership to Virgin HealthMiles. Chris joined Virgin HealthMiles in 2006 as executive vice president, product and business development, and soon thereafter became the company’s CEO and board member. As the founder and former VP of business development of UPromise, a successful loyalty coalition and college savings account business, Chris has a deep background in corporate and consumer loyalty programs. While at UPromise, he built a business development team that now boasts the largest and most comprehensive partner coalition of any loyalty program in the U.S. Prior to founding UPromise, Chris was director of the health care business unit at Trilogy Development Group in Austin, Texas. Sean Forbes - PresidentSean Forbes is Virgin HealthMiles’ President. He also serves on the company’s board of directors as well as on the board of Virgin Life Care in South Africa. Prior to joining Virgin HealthMiles, Sean was responsible for global strategy, marketing, business development and product management at RightNow Technologies. During his tenure there, RightNow became the industry leader in on-demand customer service software with revenue more than quadrupling and the company transitioning from cash flow negative to consistent profitability. In 2004, the company had one of the most successful IPOs of the year, ahead of Google in returns. Prior to RightNow, Sean was vice president of business development at Trilogy Software, the industry leader in sales configuration software, where his primary focus was growing its highly profitable automotive business unit from $5M to nearly $100M. Sean has also led numerous domestic and international leveraged buy-out engagements with Bain & Company's Private Equity Group in Boston, New York, and Moscow. A decorated veteran of the United States Navy, Sean served as a surface warfare officer and led SEAL-trained boarding teams. During his service, he was also a foreign exchange officer with both the Japanese and Indonesian Navies. Sean has an MBA from Harvard and a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University. Areas of Expertise:

Tom Abshire - SVP Marketing and Member EngagementTom Abshire is responsible for developing Virgin HealthMiles’ corporate marketing strategies as well as the member engagement programs that keep Virgin HealthMiles members motivated and engaged. He joined Virgin HealthMiles in the summer of 2008 from Microsoft, where he planned future product offerings for the Microsoft Office group. Prior to Microsoft, Tom was the vice president of solutions for RightNow Technologies, where he developed and managed the product management and product marketing functions for software, services and hosting offerings. Before RightNow, Tom worked at Hewlett Packard for more than 10 years in various marketing, manufacturing, service and channels management roles. While at Hewlett Packard, Tom was actively involved in the creation of several business units, including the high-growth years of the LaserJet business, the launch of consumer PCs, and the development of new technologies and channels. Jennifer Turgiss - Vice President, Health & FitnessAs Vice President of Health & Fitness, Jennifer Turgiss builds partnerships with key distributors of HealthMiles, oversees the activities of our Science Advisory Board, and is responsible for the company’s health and fitness policy and evidence. She comes to Virgin HealthMiles by way of Virgin Active where she was Worldwide Director of Health and Fitness. Jennifer has nearly 20 years’ experience in senior management roles at national and international health & fitness businesses, and is largely responsible for getting Virgin HealthMiles off the ground. Jennifer holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado. After a brief stint in research and clinical settings, she found her true passion in the applied world of health and fitness for the “Average Joe” – people who don’t have an innate love or drive to be physically active, but do value their health and well-being. She has developed and implemented practical fitness and weight management programs for all ages, from 6 to 96. Areas of Expertise:
